Common Things is a mixed-culture saison made with honey from local bees. The beer is 6.2% ABV and features Styrian Golding and aged Cascade hops. It was fermented in stainless steel before being packaged and refermented in 750mL bottles.
When we heard that the Shelton Brothers were going to hold their annual The Festival event in Atlanta, Georgia, one of two markets where our beer is distributed, we were excited, anxious, and all around proud. We of course know what an amazing craft beer culture exists in Atlanta, filled with educated and loyal consumers and retailers, and we wanted to make sure that we could do our part to shine a light on it for others to see. Therefore, we went to work to collaborate with our industry friends to create some amazing experiences for the general public and industry guests coming in from out of town.
We hope you will join us for this very special event which includes some of Athens' & Atlanta's finest chefs from 5&10, Hampton & Hudson, Heirloom Cafe, Home.made, Johanna Nicol, LRG Provisions, The National, Saltyard, Seabear, Staplehouse, and Wrecking Bar Brewpub.

Staplehouse is a for-profit subsidiary of The Giving Kitchen, and all after-tax profits ultimately benefit The Giving Kitchen, a non-profit which provides emergency assistance grants to metro Atlanta restaurant workers facing unanticipated crisis.
Last Sunday, we were able to host a very special tour for The Curious Beer release. We could not have asked for a better crowd for this event, and were able to capture some of this intimate tour experience on camera, which we wanted to share.
Saturday was a huge day for us here at the brewery. We held our first bottle release tour for a beer we have been waiting on and working on since we opened last year. And although we still cannot sell beer onsite, this day would not have been possible without the recent law changes last July. Last Saturday we were able to see the fruits of our labor, and the labor of so many others who are invested in the beer community in the state of Georgia.
Thanks for voting for us for 1st place in People's Choice for the Curious No. 5, or as we like to call it - Athens in a glass!
We're adding new tanks so we can make you guys more beer. Thanks for the support that got us here!
We are excited to announce that our brewing equipment has arrived in the sweet land of Athens, Georgia!
