Our Leadership Team is seeking an experienced, highly-motivated, and creative-minded individual who wants to elevate our brand with world class marketing. This is a senior level role at Creature Comforts, and a highly cross-functional role that will assist in both large and small scope projects across all aspects of Marketing: Brand Marketing, Field Marketing, Consumer Marketing, Communications, and more.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THIS POSITION WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES:
•Creating a strategic Annual Marketing Plan including timeline, budget, deliverables
•Overseeing the execution of the Marketing Plan for a large portfolio of products
•Providing monthly guidance and reporting against the Marketing Plan to the Operating Committee
•This role will be responsible for consumer and field marketing planning and execution
•Creating a measuring system to determine the success of all marketing initiatives
•Working with internal teams to develop consumer insights that inform the Marketing Plan, and testing the effectiveness of marketing initiatives
•Creation and execution of in-market and on-site marketing events
•Oversight of the public relations team to ensure coordinated efforts of campaign and managing media contacts
•Developing and overseeing written briefs for agencies and suppliers (creative, advertising, packaging, consumer promotions, merchandising, etc.) to direct their work and to generate concepts for effective execution of marketing plans
•Acting as subject matter expert to protect Creature Comforts’ trademarks and company rights to all POS, packaging, branding, etc.
•Working closely with the production, on-site Tasting Room, and commercial sales teams to execute new product launches
•Management of all Consumer Marketing Programs (including all social media and website management)
•This role will have people management responsibilities

•Master’s Degree in Marketing, Sales, Public Relations, Advertising, Business, or related discipline

Ideal Work Experience: What do we expect that you have ideally done before?
•7+ years of marketing experience, preferably with a blend of large scale corporate experience and start-up experience.
•Familiarity within the adult beverage industry, yet also experience outside of our industry
•Developed brand strategy and application across channel, including local and regional marketing
•Created and tracked against key consumption occasions, shopper messaging, and methods of activation
•Developed truly challenging and stretching goals, and figured out a way to achieve those goals
•Past working relationships with Brand/Creative/Digital Agencies
•Experience in negotiating agreements with venues, media outlets, distributors, sports teams, etc.
•Ability to develop tools to support the gathering and analyzing of consumer information
•Capable of crafting compelling fact-based stories, preparing presentation, delivering content to a vast array of audiences
•Knowledge and Understanding of brand standards, TM use, legal guidelines and Vis ID SME
•Knowledge of Agency capabilities
•Shopper Marketing Principles
•Strong social/digital background
•Event Marketing Experience
•Rules development, legal approval process
