We have a ton of amazing guests that pass through our Tasting Room almost every weekday. Our favorite part of the day here at CCBC is seeing the clock strike 5 & the brewery filling up with tour guests ready to sample our beer, sometimes for the first time, sometimes for the 100th or 200th time.
We try our best to talk to folks here taking tours & drinking our beers to gain constructive feedback that we can utilize to make the tour experience here in our Tasting Room the best that there is in the beer industry. One thing we've heard from guests, especially our regular & loyal Athenians right here in the Classic City is the desire to see more variety in our Tasting Room draft list. Well, you asked and we heard you!
Starting today, we will offer more beers pouring onsite to sample as well as more beers packaged to go on a regular basis. Moving forward we will use our 30bbl fermentor and brite tank for rotating innovative and experimental limited release beers. Whether it's trying a new ingredient like an unknown hop varietal, a new method in a stage of the brewing process, or just brewing a new style that we haven't been able to brew on a large scale, we are so thrilled to have the opportunity to develop new ideas and produce a lot more beers on a more regular basis for our loyal guests to enjoy.
Some may ask: why now? We are finally able to do this for a couple of reasons. Firstly, with the recent changes in the DOR regulations (thanks to some hard working people in the craft beer industry and at the Georgia Craft Brewer's Guild) we are allowed more ways to get beer into the hands of guests visiting our Tasting Room. And secondly, thanks to you, our fans, we have experienced a level of scale and success with our core and seasonal brands that allows us the opportunity to experiment and explore a bit more, and seek out continuous improvement and innovation.
So, thank you! We hope you will come along on this journey with us. We hope you will drink as many of these beer as you can, visit us in our Tasting Room, and continue to provide useful feedback for us that we can take and learn from. This is an amazing chance for our brewers to continue to develop new ideas and bring more recipes and concepts to you that we have not had the opportunity to do for the last two years since we've opened, the chance for our marketing team to work hard and fast to develop new labels & brands that you'll hopefully love and want to take beautiful photos of, and the chance for our tour staff to bring you a more complete and hospitable Tasting Room experience.
Cheers, happy drinking, and see you in the Tasting Room very soon.
