Last Sunday, we were able to host a very special tour for The Curious Beer release. We could not have asked for a better crowd for this event, and were able to capture some of this intimate tour experience on camera, which we wanted to share.
In the photographs below, you'll find some behind the scenes photos of staff prepping, guests posing, friends laughing, beers pouring, saxophones playing, and more. There were many moving parts for this event; a ton of people worked hard to bring it together and to make it special. Our neighbors at The National provided delicious small plates to pair with The Curious beers. The Colin Manko Quintet was there early to set up and treat guests to delightful jazz. As the the hour drew closer for us to open our doors and people lined up outside, the energy swelled, and it was inspiring to see almost our entire staff band together to get everything accomplished.
The last and perhaps unprecedented piece of the puzzle, and the thing that made this event truly spectacular, was the crowd in attendance. Guests filled the room, accepted their pours of The Curious beers in an almost quiet reverence, and gave their full attention as our Brewmaster and Head Brewer gave tours and tasting notes. It was a great reminder of why we do what we do and of the fact that Georgia's craft beer scene is full of people who love and cherish beer.
For those who were there, we thank you for making this event a singular and delightful experience. The whole day felt very intimate, like a bunch of friends gathered in one place to drink beers together. Which is why we got into this business in the first place.
