As many of you know, we have been fighting for better beer laws in Georgia for the last year. We wouldn’t say that this battle has been totally victorious, but legislation is certain moving in the right direction for craft beer in the state of Georgia.
After months of making phone calls, sending emails, having meetings, and asking for your help, the brewery laws of Georgia have changed and will go into effect today. We want this transition to be as simple as possible for our guests at the brewery, so we would like to share a little about how everything is going to work!
Firstly, we will now be selling tours at the brewery. Tours will still include glassware (optional), but now we are offering tours that include up to 36oz of tastings onsite and up to 72oz of souvenir beer to go. Currently, we are offering a couple of 750ml bottles (Dayspring & Southerly Love), six packs of Athena/Tropicalia, and crowlers of beer to be filled on demand. We will be making our Curious Tuesday beers in larger quantities to accommodate crowler fills and we have some brewery only beers in the works among a few other special bottle releases coming up.
This is so exciting for us because now we can offer you more choices on how much beer you want onsite as well as for the first time ever offer you the chance to be able to take our beer home, which we think creates a more positive and complete brewery tour experience. The ability for our guests take home beer from the source has been a long time dream of ours and it is finally being realized!
Cheers & stay tuned!
