Starting on 9/9/2014, Creature Comforts will have new simplified public brewery tour hours.
Tuesday - Friday: 5-8 pm.
Saturday: 1-4 pm
*We will continue to offer tours early on Wednesday to support the Athens Farmers market and Saturday hours are subject to change on UGA home football game days
So, why change the hours again? Quite simply because you all have told us that we should, and believe it or not, when we ask you all for advice on the tours or on an account visit and you give it to us, we take it very seriously and when possible, we act. For Example:
Temperature - people told us it was too hot and that we need some A/C or giant fans . . . you all were right. Unfortunately, A/C was not an option, but we did get 2 giant fans installed and they have made a significant improvement.
Shade - Next people told us that we needed some shade in our parking lot . . . you all were right. We purchased a 60ft x 40ft tent (thanks to the Athens Farmers Market as well for their support).
Hours - Lately, we have been hearing that our hours are confusing and people are not always sure when we are open . . . and as usual, you all are right again, hence, the simplified hours.
Next up on our list of things you've said we can improve:
More Beers - We are actively sourcing a 3 barrel pilot system which will allow us to keep a greater variety on draft in our taproom and allow us to perfect our seasonal so we can get more variety to our awesome retail accounts as well.
More Glassware - We have just finished designing some new glassware options with our manufacturer, and as soon as we can afford to order some more, we will be doing so!
More Merchandise - We are actively working on two new t-shirt designs as well as a Koozie and some hat options!
Tap Handles - Some retailers have told us they have had issues with our tap handles, so we are beginning work to design new and better tap handles.
We sincerely appreciate your feedback and thank you all for helping to make Creature Comforts a viable local business. We greatly appreciate your patronage and support, if it was not for the people who come and support our tours and the retail establishments that so graciously pour our beers, we would not be able to continue to try to improve both the tour experience and our in-market support. We fully recognize the value that you all bring to us, and remain fully committed to providing that value back to you all.
Please make sure you are following us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to stay abreast of our progress on these items and many more.
