SAISON MADE WITH TULSI & HIBISCUS
Tulsi is a saison (6.4%) made with tulsi and hibiscus.
This beer came about from our relationship with UGArden. After visiting the farm, we quickly started to learn more about adaptogens and Tulsi in particular from the herb program manager, Noelle. We then decided to use two varietals of Tulsi for a saison based on Noelle's expertise.
After brewing the beer and allowing it to mature, we added hibiscus, also sourced from the The UGArden. The floral qualities of hibiscus are a perfect complement to the earthy and herbal saison, giving the beer a nice balanced presentation. What resulted was Tulsi, a collaboration project with UGArden.
